It's funny how a lullaby can change your perspective on a song. This version of “By Your Side” gives it a whole new life. Singing on this album was a new experience for me because I rarely sing smooth melodies; I'm usually syncopated and melodically everywhere. So it was a nice change to have Kimié bring a different side of my voice out with this arrangement. |
